Abbey Road september 26, 2019, the 50th anniversary

For 50 years already Abbey Road is a comfortable and amazing Beatles album. Side one of the LP has compostions of all four Beatles. And all with a song that became more of less a hit or is covered remarkably by other artists. Frank Sinatra covered George Harrison's song Something and called it the best Lennon and McCartney song. Ringo Starr's Octopus's Garden was covered by Reparata and The Delrons and this Sesame Street version (count to eight) is simply beautiful and heartwarming.
The iconic sleeve photo is maybe even more famous than the record itself and maybe the most famous of all Beatles record sleeves. You only need a zebra crossing and some people or objects to make your own Abbey Road picture.
You will find several of these Abbey Road sleeve tributes here (All have at the least one Beatles Cover Version).
